The "Union Mafia" is decentralized and less powerful than Wal-mart.

I disagree with you, but I'm pretty sure

Oh, I believe you, I'm sure that some Wal-marts stink. BUT, there are a lot of other businesses that do also. I worked for a company (food service) where the bos told a worker to punch out and finish her work off the clock. Same company manager told me to clock out and had me to come in and sit down and give me a warning, I asked her a question as to why Medical acounts are paid more than Education acounts(I worked at a college). She told me because hospital acounts are more dangerous! YEAH, can you believe it? she said that nurses can leave hypodermic needles on a patients tray and that people picking up the trays or cleaning them off in the dishroom could get stuck! I glared at her and called her a liar.

Sue, I'm glad your dad had a positive experience there, I'm sure many people did.

Should Wal-Mart have advised their employees not to wish customers a Merry Christmas and instead say Happy holidays?

WalMart can advise their employees of anything they wish to.

<<Wal-Mart Stores Inc. is mobilizing its store managers and department supervisors around the country to warn that if Democrats win power in November, they'll likely change federal law to make it easier for workers to unionize companies -- including Wal-Mart.>>

As rmom stated, that should work for the Democrats.
