There have been many who have accused some of not being "fair" to P.E. Obama because he isn't even in office yet, but this is truely interesting comming from his own "side".

I think he is doing what's best for our nation not the "liberals". If that means changing things he initial planned then so be it. He has knew information he didn't' have

The mark of a great president is the ability to assess a situation and then act accordingly. I would hope that President Elect Obama does that.

Until January 20th, however, there is NOTHING to say about what he has/hasn't or will/won't do.

Do conservatives agree with everything Bush did?

"I do wonder what he would have to do to win conservatives praise or support, seems that he is damned if he does and damned if he don't."

GEEEEEZE once again you are taking my question the WRONG way.

i never expected obama to immediately start pushing his/the liberal agenda. one of the things i like so much about him is while his ideals are liberal, he is very level headed, and as others have said, i trust his judgement in assessing situations. i'm more concerned with the reasons he changes his methods than the fact that he changes his methods.

i will say i'd probably would have liked to have seen someone who opposed the iraq war as SOS, but i'll wait and see how hillary does before i judge her harshly, or judge obama too harshly for choosing her

If we're lucky that's not true. I believe he very likely knew his policy proposals weren't in the best interest of the country but he also is smart enough to know that the bulk of his voting block isn't savvy enough to know that. So he told them what he needed to tell them in order to get elected. It worked. Now hopefully he will do what is right for the country.

This reminds me of an argument I got into with a friend, shortly after Tony Blair was elected PM.
