I thought it was very interesting and made me feel even better about the candidate I have chosen to support.

I didn't learn much new, McCain is definately the stronger choice on foreign policy, Obama on the economy. I would call it a draw. Obama constantly referring to McCain as "John" kinda rubbed me the wrong way, but maybe thats just me.

I saw that mentioned on Fox News but for me personally, I found that rather trivial. Obama said "Senator" several times but it seemed like he said "John" when he was trying to make a point &/or get McCain's undivided attention. It's funny (not in a haha way!) that you think McCain was "definitely the stronger choice on foreign policy" b/c I felt exactly the opposite. :-)

Well I would be the first to admit, that foreign policy is way over my head. Everything they were talking about besides Iraq, Afghanistan, and Korea, I was totally lost, so I guess I just felt like McCain was stronger, maybe because the press has been saying that over and over. But I actually felt he knew what he was talking about and seemed so very sure of his answers.

I was hoping that McCain would talk more about his trying to regulate Freddie and Fannie years ago. McCain saw this coming but the democrats wanted to make sure that everyone could buy a house, even if they couldn't really afford it.

-can you explain this a bit more? it just seems contradictory since typically dems are in favor of more regulation.

I think part of my "problem" with McCain in regards to foreign policy was that he kept reiterating the issue of "winning in Iraq" but I don't believe that Iraq is a win/lose situation for the US. We are not fighting a battle to be won or lost, we are in essence policing another country's civil war. I think the war in Afghanistan is much more important and is one that we could actually win or lose.
