McCain will always be a winner with his veteran background. He is a true hero that I trust with the responsibility of this country! Obama can definately talk well, which is so scarey because so many people believe his BS. Can you imagine.....ya, we are going to fight the war on terror with a president named "Obama"?
Respectfully, I think you're wrong about this. All the veterans I've spoken to, including my father who is a Vietnam vet, do not trust McCain at all. Sure, they respect his service and what he went through, but he has turned his back on veterans in so many ways since he entered politics and to me that is NOT heroic.
Umm... Correction: Out of all of the politicians that Fannie and Freddie gave money to, Obama was number 2 on the list raking in $126,349. John McCain was number 62 on the list with a whopping $21,550. Sorry for not giving enough details earlier.
First, I did not quote figures. I merely stated that McCain ALSO took money from employees of Fannie/Freddie, which he did. Your response does not refute what I said, but I believe the numbers you're quoting are not accurate based on what has already been posted to this board.
Obama, is such a gentleman. He refuses to get down to the level of McCain and still provide valid solutions to problems. McCain has five tricks, and isn't creative to do anything new. He uses fear, plays a violin, blatantly lies, depends on his prisoner past, and name drops. He doesn't have anything else. Nothing. It's pathetic. He came off insecure, everytime he smirked at Obama. Pathethic and tired, man.

It was a sorry excuse for a debate. Next time I would like to see exactly what the nominees think about important issues that the american people feel need to be addressed, less arguing more to the point answers for a big change in politics.

the numbers you cite refference money
I just finally got to watch this, and I was completely disgusted with McCain's performance.
I guess what disturbed me more was the faces and head shaking going on with Obama when McCain was talking.
So be it
