If I didn't care for McCan't before, I detest him now! His superior and condescending attitude every time Obama answered a question was abhorrent. His chesire cat smirk showed just how he isn't able to even listen to someone else's opinion. How's he going to be as president? Fuggedabout it. I'm Obama all the way. And don't even get me started on Palin. If the Republicans think that just because she's a woman that everyone of us is going to jump off the cliff with the rest of the lemmings, they're wrong. She's a mega disaster waiting to happen and we'll see it when she debates Biden.

The debates we're balanced. They both stated there positions well except Obama always looks like he's thinking to hard.

Because I was so focused on what the candidates were saying, I paid little attention to the 90-some % of communication that is nonverbal. On content, although I am an Obama supporter, I thought that both men were knowledgeable and confident in their respective positions. My approach to foreigh policy, however, leans away from Sen.McCain, but I respected his faith in his stand. Following the debate as the news networks began to give commentary, I then became aware that Sen. McCain did not make eye contact with Sen. Obama. That for me was a deal-breaker. Agree with your opponent or not, give them the respect due another human by giving eye contact. None of the spin from the McCain camp. since, when questioned on this point, have given an excuse that I buy.

Also, did anyone else notice that when appearing on "The View" Sen. McCain did not give a reflexive and uniquovical "NO" to Whoopie Goldberg's question that a literal interpretation may mean that she would become a slave!?!

I never thought of Obama as are great debater, however I thought he did an excellent job, in that McCain is supposedly more experienced than Obama and Foreign policy is his strong. On that count only I thought McCain had a subpar performance, he looked tense, and sometimes aggitated, while Obama looked relaxed and confortable. Neither had a WOW moment. I call it a draw.
