What is the most important issue

We have a federal election in Canada next week, and I've been struggling trying to decide who I'm going to vote for. I finally sat down last night and thought "what is most important issue to me, right now?" Once I made that decision, I was able to decide pretty quickly who I'll be voting for.

So I ask you, what is the most important issue to you in this election?

Thanks! I'm just grateful that our campaign periods are so much shorter, 40 days!

I'm exhausted by the duration

She simply wants an answer in the thread asking McCain supporters if they would feel equally safe with Palin in charge Nat'l Security wise should (God forbid) a President McCain die while in office since so many are pumping Nat'l Security as their reason why they are voting for him over Obama... no one has answered the question yet. Are you in Washington State? I've been to Seattle a few times and absolutely love it there. Actually I'd say that Seattle and Nashville are probably my favourite US cities so far (although NYC and Chicago aren't far behind!)

The most important issue to me is TRUST.

I need to trust that these people will represent what their constituents ask, even if it's "unpopular" among their fellow politicians.

I need to trust that my honest efforts and upstanding citizenship will not be placed lower on their list of priorities than saving irresponsible, criminal, or greedy people with dishonest practices or failures to live up to their legal contracts.

I need to trust that the rewards go to the deserving, not to the needy.

I need to trust that they will do what they say they will do.

I don't trust any of them. Not a one. I may actually stay home this year. It's not about us anymore, it's about them.
