"Actually, I've never heard ANYONE I knew who is wealthy complain about the taxes they pay, ONLY THE POSTERS IN HERE!!!!"

LOL...I don't think i KNOW anyone I would call truly "wealthy"!! (And even though my parents make over the magic mark, I would never in a million years call them wealthy!!)

So, wouldn't small business owners, pay personal taxes on what they pay themselves, plus their company pays taxes, plus they pay

Is 500,000 a lot for a small business? How do you come up with that figure and would that be before expenses, a company with no employees other than the owner. I mean, how do you come up with the figure of 500, 000 being a lot, but not 250,000 for instance.

Compared with the overall population, small business owners are more likely to…

  • Be married and have children
  • Have a college education
  • Earn income greater than $75,000
  • Live in a higher-value home, especially those valued at $300,000 or more, in creditworthy areas.
  • Donate to environmental and political causes >

I guess the definition of wealthy is different in your reality. FTR,

A small business man who *nets* $250k would fall into it, yes. It would be considered his salary.

(It also counts for small business women who net over $250k).

Does anyone know how many small business net $250k a year?
