What Obama means by tax the wealthy
Here's a closer look at how the Democratic candidate defines well-off for different households, and what his proposals will mean for them.

Well, I won't be losing any sleep over the exploitation of the rich and powerful.

Maybe they should have waited to have kids when they could afford them.

I don't believe the statement I made should be a blanket one, however she stated 'all' the field workers (1000s).

< I am not upper class and I am not lower class, I count myself in the ignored class. Just MO.>

If you didn't get the tax stimulus you are at least among the 10% richest in income. By any estimation, that would be upper class. BTW - I kwym, I consider myself solidly middle class, it's my roots, my sensibility, and my mindset. I don't consider myself ignored at all, I did very well financially during the Clinton and Bush years. My federal, state and local tax burden is less than 30% of our total income, as it includes passive and investment income.

Is it a just a bit between 32K and 170K? I know when we reached the 150K line it bit the big one, but we weren't ready to give any of our earned income back.

"But no one should paint the less fortunate with a broad brush like what seems to be happening here. "

But it's okay to paint those who are in the upper 5% with a broad brush like you have, right? The whole "air conditioned" argument and whatnot??
