I think being an Amercian and acting like an American means doing what's best not just for yourself but for others as well.

I served my country and so has my husband and so are members of my family right now. Not agreeing with the current administration is not being unpatriotic or unAmerican.
beats me .... can mean many things to many people I suppose.
