250,000 or 200,000?

Oh now Obama is saying that only people below 200,000 will get a tax break the people between 200 and 250 will not get a tax increase....That is different than what he was saying all along!

Ok, watch this number fall fall fall over the next year.

Huh?

Here's exactly what Biden said, everyone can decide for themselves:
"Under the old tax policy that was put in by George Bush, people making an average $1.4 million a year, good people, decent people, patriotic, they're going to get an $87 billion tax break," Biden said to WNEP Monday. "What we're saying is that $87 billion tax break doesn't need to go to people making an average of $1.4 million, it should go like it used to – it should go to middle-class people, people making under $150,000 a year."

Obama has changed aspects of his tax plan during this campaign, it's not inconceivable that something is being changed again or will in the future.

I took it to mean "like people making under $150,000 a year". I already stated in a previous post where the 3 numbers come from. Here's my post again -

The tax increase would be for families making above $250,000 or individuals making above $200,000. Many people making between $150,000-200,000 will see reduced taxes or bigger refunds but they may only get partial tax credits b/c the credits do phase out just as many current credits do. So that's

I take it differently. I take it to mean the only people getting any kind of tax cuts are those making less than $150,000. I have read Obama's tax plan but he keeps changing it so I'm taking this as yet another change.

why do i feel like i am listening to kids on the playground laughing "cuz you said butt."

the logic of numbers. $150k is less than $200k is less than $250k. if people who earn less than $250k will get a tax break, then those earning less than $200k will get a tax break and those earning less than $150k will get a tax break.

did he lie somewhere in that statement?

Do you really think individuals bringing home a mere $166,000 are in the top 5%?

What was the context of the question asked of Biden?

Obama's been consistent on this from the very beginning.

Just to be fair, I think both candidates have 'plans' which will probably change due to the economy at the moment.
