Can someone nicely tell me the reasons you support Obama?

I just can't figure it out...it SEEMS alot of people support him b/c he's the "popular" choice or because he's black. What is he going to do that benefits you?

Thanks in advance

He will not be a Republican who sold me out. It's all that and much much more, mostly his stance on the Iraq War, but it goes into a myriad of issues from tax policy to his worldview versus that of the Neoconservatives.

I don't know people who support him because he's popular or he's black.

Mainly, how can anyone possibly reward Republicans for 8 years of failure?

Just a couple of quick corrections:

Obama does not suggest amending our constitution at all.

How could I have forgotten the court (and all federal judicial appointments).

Let's put the issues aside and his resume, obvious intelligence and ability to run an excellent campaign.

Do you vote for candidates who support the death penalty? How about those that support war?

Those things have nothing to do with abortion.

She actually has a very valid argument.

Lets discuss this war issue for a moment.

First, I'll put aside the issue that the Catholic Church is opposed to both the death penalty and the Iraq war.
