Frankly, I don't see what is "nannyish" (or paternalistic) about menu-labeling laws. It isn't saying you CAN'T have that Awesome Blossom. It's just letting you know that it's a coronary and obesity waiting to happen if you do!!
Hmm, I know they have male strippers here, but I've never actually gone to see them so i can't tell you whether they're nude or not. There's a gay strip club downtown I've been to and the men were HOT! I don't remember anyone getting naked, no thongs or anything either (cheesy!), but it was a long time ago so my memory is fuzzy on it.
The "drunken ice" reminds me of my daughter when she was 3. She's always loved eating ice and we were with my family in Lake Tahoe during the summer. We went out for mexican food for dinner and my dad had a margarita on the rocks. He finished it but the glass was still sitting there with some ice in the bottom. When DD started eating some ice I didn't think anything of it. In a little while when she became a chatty cathy and started acting extra silly and energetic, I started wondering. Suddenly it dawned on my that she'd been eating the ice, and that even though it would have been a very, very, very small amount, there was still liquor on it. Yikes! Lol! Luckily it didn't have any lasting effects as she is now totally anti-alcohol (not because of that).
Strip clubs per capita and
