Are you frustrated with the direction this country is headed?
Do you think this administration is way out in left field? Do you get tired of liberals accusing you of racism simply because you disagree with our president? Are you ready to see some housecleaning happen in congress this November?

Stop by the Conservative Parenting board and take a deep breath of fresh air! Discuss politics, world and local news, religion, and fluffy fun with like-minded people. It is a safe haven for you to discuss your worldview without fear of a backlash of debate. We hope to see you there soon!

I don't know how many time I can say this but comparing the relationship between big government and the people to a slave owner and slave is not the some thing as being racist. It's actually fairly accurate when someone takes your hard work and uses it any way they see fit. I really don't think it's appropriate for anyone to use that term. Ever. I wish he would admit it was an ill conceived notion.

Remember Jesse Jackson calling Obama the N word??? He wasn't making a comparison he was using the most degrading term he knew of.

Ever heard of the Crash the Tea Party movement that was led by Jason Levin? I have zero doubt that he's not the only guy to think of doing this but I'm sure others were more intelligent and didn't make it public knowledge because they wanted to damage more than they desired the glory.

Are you going to continue to post single images/examples of idiotic racist people who happen to be conservatives and try to pass them off of proof that all conservatives are racists? Do you realize that is only proving that there are liberals that stereotype conservatives and the safe haven of the conservative parenting board is where we can discuss without racial assumptions being thrust upon us?

Ladies, This thread was started as a promotion for another board. It was posted in the Explore iVillage folder and is not up for debate. Please refrain from attacking Community Leaders who come to promote their boards here. All CLs are welcome to promote here, regardless of their political stances. If the content of this post sparks a thought or idea that you would like to debate, please feel free to start a thread on the topic.
