I doubt that it would make a difference for me one way or the other. I have been involved in positions in volunteer capacities where I was involved with the media directly and from the side lines. I always felt that the media coverage was good for the times that this has happened.
If I were involved in something that the media was "attacking," it might be different for me. However, I think that's unusual in a volunteer capacity.
