Remember the joker in The Dark Knight (Yeah I'm a nerd... so what, wanna fight about it?)lol Anyways... He was driven mad by a society that is completely obsessed with control! He wanted to prove that chaos reigns, despite our desperate attempts (Butterfly Effect anybody?) I know the movie doesn't bring home my conclusion... But this does! Gay marriage, abortion, gun laws, cannabis prohibition, anti- Obama/anti-Bush, anti-theist/anti-athiest,  THE ECONOMY... jobs jobs blahh! All a part of our obsession! Don't even get me started on media agenda, marketing manipulation and "De- population" (not a conspiracy) whoa!.. im starting to sound paranoid! Or maybe I pay attention when other people tell me things! Like did you know we were bad people back in the day? Slavery ,American indian holocoust, Nuclear Bombs. Then you wonder why companies like McDonalds, Phylip Morris, and whoever makes high fructose corn syrup, are our Alpha Dogs! Bad programming! I don't believe that we are a destructive force by nature.. but given the right circumstances.. people can be programmed and manipulated to do some revolting things! Nazis! Come on... I want constructive opinions, outside of the box ! No naysaying! No nitpicking.. be real with me here! tell me what you think because, I know that there are billions of people who want to communicate exactly what I have, so.. umm  colorfully expressed!

What is the purpose of your post?  Are you thinking of harming someone?

I wanted to change things up here because debating religion is frustrating! So I thought I would take a break from that and see what people think about my "unique perspectives". (Not really unique, because I know alot of people see what I see!) Anywho!~ Instead of bringing your millymouth attitude, I was hoping you would actually be willing to discuss new ideas instead of the same old topics! But since only about 4 people actually post comments I guess I will take what I can get!

I disagree with your opinion of the Joker...society didn't drive the Joker mad...and it was that madness that sought out chaos...but it was his personal lust for power that drove him to crime.

But this does! Gay marriage, abortion, gun laws, cannabis prohibition, anti- Obama/anti-Bush, anti-theist/anti-athiest,  THE ECONOMY... jobs jobs blahh! All a part of our obsession!

Obsession with what?  Life?

No, please get started...further commentary might be more illuminating than a list you don't want to talk about.

Or maybe I pay attention when other people tell me things! Like did you know we were bad people back in the day? Slavery ,American indian holocoust, Nuclear Bombs.

"We" weren't alive "back in the day," so I don't really think "we" can be considered "bad," and those things aren't the full measure of this country.  And while the things you mentioned were certainly unfortunate, they are part and parcel of what makes us the greatest country on Earth, so they should be embraced and learned from.

Then you wonder why companies like McDonalds, Phylip Morris, and whoever makes high fructose corn syrup, are our Alpha Dogs! Bad programming!

Because they make products that the people like.  Are they "bad" for making those products?  Or are "we" "bad" for buying them?  Or is no one "bad" but the busy body liberals who want to try and control what everyone else does?

I don't believe that we are a destructive force by nature.. but given the right circumstances.. people can be programmed and manipulated to do some revolting things! Nazis!

And Obamacare. ; )

Come on... I want constructive opinions, outside of the box ! No naysaying! No nitpicking.. be real with me here! tell me what you think because, I know that there are billions of people who want to communicate exactly what I have, so.. umm  colorfully expressed!

Actually, what you've said has been vague and confusing.  Perhaps if you clarified your point with more concise statements and/or questions this discussion could get more interesting.

Well, this is the Religion Debate board.  There are other boards that discuss/debate other topics.

Was that in the comic or something? The joker was a pure anarchist and cared nothing about power! Society needs to take responsibility for its... "side effects" like people flying planes in buildings!

Obsession with what?  Life?

In a sense, or an old life I would love to see dissolve! I'm over all of the old debates! They are childs play! I want us to grow up, or evolve! Yeah I used the "E" word!

That was a figure of speech.. please get me started! The topics I listed do sort of speak for themselves however!

Yes they are bad and we are bad. Most of it.. very bad! However when I see a problem, I look to the leaders, not the followers!

Obamacare

I agree with you on that one! I'm tired of the federal government widening its juresdiction to extend into our personal lives! They are our servants as far as im concerned!
