on this board with the switch, since this board doesn't have a CL. I wanted to share some websites that will help you with the changeover...

From FAQ

"I saw that some people have different pics near their username. How did they get them?

CLs and CMs have the added option of putting a pic (called an avatar) with their name. It is not a feature with all usernames."

I would love to have an avatar. :0)

How do we get the "DEBATE" part put back in the title of the board? It's not just a Religion board...

Thanks,

Rachael

Can you get them to put the archives at the bottom? They were that way this morning. Also I have to resize the windows of the profiles and outline to scroll down. That is right annoying.

And I second the request to return the word debate to our name.

If these suggestions need to go to someone else, let me know.

Mary

I wish all members could personalize their avatars so that we could see each other's personalities better, but unfortunately right now there's no word whether or not it's going to become available to everyone. I thought in a discussion with a CM it was hinted that it would become a possibility in the future, but I'm not sure how distant. I'll pass on your suggestion, though!

I will most definitely pass that along to the higher ups. That happened to my debate board as well. Thanks for pointing that out.

No problem, I'll pass that along and relay the feedback. I'll submit all of the requests/suggestions/demands (lol) tonight in one message to TPTB so if anything becomes a glaring problem let me know.

Now I just rebooted my computer and, although I have already read every post in every thread, when I brought the board up it marked EVERY post as New!?!? Now I have to go back through and look at them all so I can tell if there is actually a NEW one.

I think this problem is happening a lot. I'll report it and see what's going on. I had the same problem.

Lori, were you logged in? If you're not logged in it will show all posts as new because the system doesn't know who you are. Once you're logged in, then it will show which are new to you and which ones you've already read.

Hope this helps!
