Oh for *&^*'s sake. Honestly. There aren't people starving in the world? People without homes? People lonely and in need of companionship?
THIS is what they're worrying about? Good grief.
Combining this with the other thread on the Pope's recent antics, and this begins to look like they are getting rather aggressive about going after other beliefs.
And that brings back memories of my early hears, comments about Protestants having no souls - you can see it in their eyes, don't you know? That is but one example of the nuttiness that sprouts from intransigent belief.
We see it here of course, the belief that my way or our way is the only route to some universal spiritual truth. I hope the world is starting to see through all such claims.

Another piece of stupidity from the Catholic church.
There is no reason why Reiki can't be compatible with any belief system held by the practitioner. I personally know a woman who prays to Jesus as she draws the energy and considers it to come from Him.
