I love my Nikon 4300...it is 4.0 megapixels and takes really good pictures.
If you want to get one use this site www.clickfordigital.com they had the lowest price on this camera....the only catch is that they call you before they ship to try and sell you extra's....(which are more expensive...you can get extra memory and batteries cheaper in walmart etc.)
Also if you are thinking about another camera...under yahoo type in the camera name and the words best price...it will pull up online sites that are WAY cheaper than stores.
I typed in Nikon 4300 best price....and found that clickfordigital was the lowest for that camera.
I don't know about quality - like if you are really into high end pictures, but I LOVE the Mavica. No hassles, memory sticks or ports needed. I have had a problem with the flash from time to time, but I am sure that is an end user error :)
Right, and this is what I hear from other users as well - in fact, I asked this question of a bunch of ebay sellers (people who live by their cameras) and out of about 30, only one did NOT say the Mavica! I have already decided it will be my next camera purchase, just trying to save enough right now out of my ebay profits to have it basically, paid for. Even the older models used are competitively priced with brand new models - that speaks for itself :)
I love my Canon Elph - it is 3.2 MP, has a zoom feature, etc. I'm not super-techie so I'm not sure exactly what the MP means, but it takes great pictures. It also has a rechargeable battery that I really like. The best thing is that it is small (about the size of a credit card except it is about an inch thick) so it fits in my purse without taking up to much room and is light enough that I don't mind carrying it around.
