Erica had her ultrasound yesterday and the baby was very cooperative. Her name is Matilda Louise, to be nicknamed Tilly.

Congrats! Is someone going to buy her the Roald Dahl book? It's one of my favorites.

Which book is that? The only Roald Dahl books I'm familiar with is the Chocolate Factory books. Or am I confusing authors again?

It's this one:

http://www.amazon.com/Matilda-Roald-Dahl/dp/0142410373/ref=pd_bbs_sr_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1215096663&sr=8-3

There's also a movie adaptation, which is actually quite good:

Roald Dahl did write Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and a lot of other really great kids books.

I didn't know that was a Road Dahl book. I love that movie. I watched it just the other day/night. I tend to forget who the author is of a book; heck, I even forget the title of the book after I read it. But I retain enough of the plot and characters that I will remember that I have read the book if I pick it up again or someone tells me about the book later.

Congrats on your new granddaughter. BTW - My three kids have completely different tastes in reading they all love Dahl. I predict your g'daughter will get a kick reading Matilda in about 8 or 9 years. The complete Dahl set is a great 6th birthday present.
