I was thinking about this the other day, there are two other companies that I have dealt with through my son's school (auction co/chair) in places that we have had our yearly auction, these spaces within the companies offices were used free of charge as we are a school.
Why hide your light under a bushel of bears, I ask you?
Oh hey your post reminded me I never told you how our auction went. First year and we had over 300 attend and made around $25,000!!!!!!!! It went awesome.
That's great, congrats!
Hubby is home with the kids. Would it bother you the same if it were the other way around? If it was the mother that was home and the father only saw them a few minutes a day? In reality, the second situation is a lot more common than the first. But in order to debate it at all, you have to ask yourself why you're offended in the first place. I agree - 30 minutes is not enough, but it shouldn't matter if it's mom or dad. We don't often criticize fathers for working long hours or endless volunteering even if their children are suffering for it. We shouldn't criticize this woman either.
