You weren't thinking at all. You were stuck at an airport bookstore with dismal choices. It happens to everyone.

Ah one of those reads:) I get it. I've read some pretty awful books picked up last minute at the airport for a long flight!

I agree, I'm in a service profession.

Well I read the reviews and have to say I wouldnt pay a cent to buy it, nor would I invest my time to read it.

Even if I could compress my work into 4 hours, I wouldnt. I love what I do and need to invest time into it to do it well. Its relationship based -- and if I have say 10 active clients, I can't condense my time with them into minutes a week......

There's also the whole tone he takes toward the people who are working for him. Like they are inferior creatures who have to slave away for five bucks an hour while he does his thing.

My own philosophy of life involves things like maximizing one's enjoyment of the experience because as far as I know, you only get one time on the planet and you might as well make the most of it But not like he advocates.

Just based on the rough outline of what he advocates, I think he sounds like a creep. I won't buy the book because I don't want him to get any money from me. I won't even check it out from the library because I don't want to give the librarian the impression that maybe she should try to get more copies ordered. His whole value system just horrifies me. I could go on, but won't. Because several hundered people at Amazon have turned the review section into a hearty debate thread which covers pretty much every objection I have to him. If you really want to get into some claws-out debating with no TOS violation pulls (unless you swear or make personal threats), that review section is the place to go to REALLY discuss this book. I give it one star. Not that I've read it.

He advocates selling a product, never a service, so you can farm out most of the work overseas or to domestic drop ship companies.

I got that impression from his website in a millisecond, all huge exciting promises with absolutely no excerpts or substance about what might be n the book, because you have to BUY it.
