I found this article interesting.

School all day, 3 hours of trampoline, running, playing, etc. We are ready for down time in front of the tv.

It is our way to relax and chill out after a long day, a fun day.

Dh & I neither one has ever liked to travel. Not at all. Not 3 hrs, not farther.

I just don't like going places. I'd rather be home. Hate the hassel of travel. I don't like to stay in hotels. I'd rather be in my house in my bed. We don't care any thing at all about eating out, we rarely do it. In travel, unless you rent facilities to do so, you have to eat out. We don't like that. Not fun.

We have traveled a tad. That was more than enough for a lifetime.

What prevents us? Nothing prevents us. Why do something you hate?

Sorry you don't get it.

Yes.

Why does everything in life have to be a benefit?

Can't we just do it for the he// of it?

"No" what?

"No" you don't think this is an "educated" decision? Why not?

Well, when you make the decision to do something "just or the heck of it" (that's what you meant, right? ) and just ignore all the risks you say you know about, what does that say about you and your decision making abilities?

In this particular case, with this particular person, I, first off, don't believe for a second she ever read the research (because she adamantly stated that in another post she doesn't) and made an active decision on tv viewing. So I really believe her argument is full of it. I'm not disputing her lifesyle - Just her contradictions.

Now if you want to discuss your question in general, I think it's a great question. Is an unwise decision still an educated decision? Yes, I guess it is. Because if you still keep smoking after reading all the research on the danger, you did in fact educate yourself.

So watching life rather than living it is more appealing to you?
