Am I just bizarre?

I read through alot of the posts where women state stuff like not being comfortable with leaving their babies with "strangers" and honestly, I never felt that way. Sure there have been times I felt sad to leave my kids, sure there are days that I wished I could have stayed home (more for me because the hustle bustle of work/drop off/pick up/lunches/getting up early/cookign dinner late, etc).

for as militant as i am about the anti-dc,sah thing,it's honestly not because of the fear of leaving my kids with "strangers"..i think looks mean alot though.

My DH always checks the bag. He also counts the money at the ATM. He loves that Joe Pesci quote and extends it to everything. Depending on the day, he thinks everyone in the world is either an idiot or out to screw him. The extreme distrust of doctors and checking of sale prices, though, is somebody else I know, who also does the above-mentioned things and cannot leave their child with anyone.

No, I have no problem leaving my baby with others. Right now he stays with his grandma while I work, but I'm looking forward to being able to afford taking him to Kids R Kids. That place is awesome, and I know he'll have a blast.

No I never for one second thought my DH (who is a SAHP) or our nanny when she was with us full time werent caring very very well for my children. I wouldnt have left them alone with *anyone* I doubted for one second.

But that didnt/ doesnt stop me from feeling sad when I have to be away from them. But that's about me, not the quality of care they are receiving!

I would upgrade someone who I had met 2-3 times & spoken to, at least an acquintance. A virtual stranger is someone I've never met nor spoken to.
