That was my first thought too, but I could still see the point.

My dh is a twin; his sister arrived 14 months later, and his brother 14 months after that - 4 kids in just over two years.

I did home child care for several years when my children were younger.

call 911 and with attachment parenting you can have one on your back or waist/shoulder and one in each arm.

I don't doubt that you could get three babies out the door in the event of a fire, but, seriously, do you think you'd take the time to pull out the stroller, or *attach* one of the babies to your back?

As for the rest of your drivel, you aren't making much sense.

I totally agree with you. Maybe some people are capable of taking care of the needs of 3 newborns simultaneously all on their own, but MY newborn will certainly not be among them. I would look for a provider with a safe infant-caregiver ratio.

My first thought is that I wouldn't hire someone who was going to give birth a few months later, unless of course they have a backup plan (that I approved of and agreed with) well in hand for the 6-8 weeks that I wouldn't have a daycare provider.

I also wouldn't use a home daycare provider who was looking to provide care so they could be home with their own children.
