I don't have any experience with that, but you might try the Childcare Providers board for answers to your questions:

Not a provider but one of the first places that you should be looking at is this website: http://nrc.uchsc.edu/STATES/states.htm You need to know the rules and regulations on home daycare in your state.

I really think it depends on the home provider.

If I were looking at potential daycare providers, I probably wouldn't choose one who was four months pregnant. It would create a lot of logistical issues for me, when the daycare provider gave birth.

Standard medical leave after giving birth is 6 weeks for vaginal birth and 8 weeks for cesarean. If you were looking to hire a daycare provider would you want to hire someone who could potentially need to take off 6-8 weeks (granted, most women recover more quickly than that) just a few months after your kid starts there?

These kind of arguments crack me up.

Honestly, I've never known a parent of twins or triplets not to have help when the babies are little.
