i disagree if the notion is that moms with multiples or a mom with closely spaced children is a comparison to a qualified dcp with newborns though.

Exactly. She might have better luck simply babysitting rather than trying to run a full-blown childcare business.

You aren't thinking about this as a business. You are thinking about this as a series of playdates for your kids that you get paid for. That's not a good business mindset. The parents would be your CUSTOMERS, which is not at all the same thing as being the parents of your kids' friends.

Exactly, I am part of the customer base or rather was at one point as my children are older now and I wouldn't use this situation for the reasons I described earlier.

If a sahm provided child care in her home, she would be a working mother or a wahm, not a sahm.
