My read messages keep showing back up as unread! The dot will go away and then come back, even when nothing's been added to it. It's very frustrating. And BTW, haven't we been wanting a "frustrated" icon? Or was that just me?LOL You'd think they'd add that one for this occasion. ;-)

If you go off the board and come back on, make sure you actually log back in. This happened to me yesterday, and I found that, if I signed back in, the read messages showed up as read. If I didn't log in, they appeared as unread. Hope that helps. I'm still muttering "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" under my breath. :)

EVERY time? Really? Geez...I'm off & on all day long. I'll give it a whirl, though. Thanks.

I think it's a real pain, but I imagine, as the number of messages increases, it'll be harder and harder to keep track of what you've already read. There is a "log-in" place at the top of the board and it only takes a moment to do it -- it's just remembering to do it -- grrrrr.

I'm really peeved that the "outline view" page doesn't change the messages to a different color after they've been read, but that's a different complaint altogether. :)

Well as long as we're complaining, I think the title boxes need to be longer, too. And considering the fact that I keep getting an error message so it's taken me 16 times (so far, I'm fairly sure this one is just a waste of time, too.LOL) to post *this* particular message, I'm thinking the whole situation just pretty much blows goats.

Whine, whine, whine.......

Yep, I think this really stinks. I figure the actual motivation for all these "improvements" is making sure *every* message gets opened, hence creating a larger number of potential hits on each advertisement. No more n/t...move on to the next line. I've gotten error messages all morning, too. Haven't given up yet, but it's definitely sucking the enjoyment out of the experience. Grrrrrrr.......

I hate the whole damn "experience." The outline view doesn't show all the threads and having to click and read each post is a chore. The whole site is just plain stupid. Someone obviously didn't read Steve Krug's web usability book, "Don't Make Me Think."

Well, my dog is barking at me to go out. I'd rather be there than on PS.
