Anything wrong with stuff?

Often MSAH state that the reason mother work is for "stuff"

If there anything wrong with that?

I don't think so, as long as someone is not doing anything illegal or immoral to acquire that stuff I don't see a problem.

The first half of our marriage we had to count every penny. The last few years there are very few limitations on getting what we want. (it has much more to do with my DH's changing job status than my SAH/WOH status). I like it a lot better now.

What would you consider a good reason for someone to blab about their stuff? If they are blabbing about it then it would seem they are trying to impress someone.

I think some people (not you, speaking in general) take things the wrong way.

Maybe they are proud of what they have accomplished in life to be able to do and buy the things they do. Not everyone who talks about what they have purchased is trying to impress others. And many people are jealous of what others have. (again ALL in general).

Some people are very proud of what they have accomplished and are not trying to impress or blab about what they buy or do. I am not saying ALL people don't try to impress or blab about what they buy or do as I am WELL aware there are people out there like that.
Some people also wish they had what these people have and pawn it off as impressing or blabbing when it is jealousy on their part.
(AGAIN, all in general).

How do you know that these people are trying to impress others? Have they said that to you? Have you asked them?

Do you think that everyone who has stated things they do and buy are trying to "impress" others?
