Often SAHMs will talk about WOHM like they are a foreign species and WOHMs do the same talking about SAHMs like they are a foreign species.

Are SAHM and WOHM really that different?

As someone who has done both I don't think so. I did not suddenly change when I returned to the work force or when I again left the work force for a few months.

What do you usually do between 7am and 3pm? Is that what you would be doing while you were on the clock at work?

We are always home so I don't have to work around schedules. It isn't like I couldn't do what I do now in the evening time. And sometimes I do that anyway.

Then what would change is what you do between 4 and 11 every night.

LOL, this is my sore spot about sitters, they don't do it the way a parent would.

"and straightening up a house is one of those things i like to do, if i hired that help, it would not be done my way."

LOL, I have no trouble ceding control to my cleaning lady. She does an excellent job. I guess I am just not that hung up on "my way".

What do you usually do between 4 and 11? Would you get those things done between midnight and 7am?

That's not nothing. That's watching TV, talking, doing your hobbies and reading. If you usually do chores between 7am and 3pm and do your hobbies/TV/reading between 4pm and 11pm, then if you work from 7am and 3pm and move your chores to 4pm to 11pm, that means what will change is how much time you spend watching TV, talking, doing your hobbies and reading. So AGAIN, you wouldn't be doing the same things as you do now to the same extent that you do them now. There simply aren't enough hours in the day.
