My dh's best friends father was convited for the same thing last year. His *my dh's * best friend who was our best man in our wedding ended up having a nervous break down, his wife left him.

Very sad.

Im sorry to hear about your friend.

Trust me, by the time you finally decide he's old enough to be left alone, he will have been on lots of websites you never even imagined he'd be able to find.

First reason would be that the boys would get teased wearing a skirt! lol.

Actually the girls need more mobility.

I agree. I do not like it at all.

I think that cheerleading is started around here at to young of a age. I think the clothing, hair dos and makeup is in appropriate for small girls.

Even in public school's what some of the young girls wear is shocking.

Good guestion,

I wonder why they have such get ups at such a young age for little girls.

I have no problem with the older girls h.s and older *I was a cheerleader* but the little ones really bug me, my dd is not allowed to cheerlead until she get's older.

I'm not suggesting they wear skirts or shorts.

OK, you mentioned internet predators and that is something we did not have when I was 12.

But instead of asking, why don't you explain to us what it is that you see as such significant changes that have increased the danger to kids in their daily lives?
