One of the changes ofr the better is that now people TALK about it. Respectable news papers write about it, so we all know about it. That is the only difference. If anything it is a difference that may have led to abuse being LESS common, although it may seem like you hear about abuse all the time.

I dont view it as a cop out. Your entitled to your opinion, if I was to leave my 10 year old home alone, I would be breaking the law.

He has plenty of independence, he is doing well, but thanks for your opinion.
