Maybe you don't spank your kids, but based on a previous post of yours, I got the impression you're in favor of it, for the sake of "respect".

People will say things if kids are hanging out by their businesses but they will just move. Once kids get cars, it is even worse as they have access to go other places.
I just know myself and my friends all had curfews when we were kids and were not allowed to hang out in the streets. The kids who did were considered "dirtbags", they ones who smoke, drank and got in trouble. Eventually they were the ones who dropped out of school and the girls were the ones who were pregnant at early ages.

I watch VH1 and MTV in the morning while I try and wake up and sometimes I can't believe what they show. I don't want my daughter to think this is the way to act around guys.

No, I said I do not condone it but I think in the days when we were younger and we all got spanked, we respected our parents more than the kids nowadays (if that makes sense-lol!!).

around here it is weather based. at every game where my dd's team was wearing their track suits so were the other schools teams - of course it was also very cold at most of our games. and like i said, the cheerleading skirts are longer than the skirts the kids wear to school on a daily basis

Why shouldn't kids hang out in public places after dark?

What kind of public place? Why can't they hang out at someone's home? What are they doing at these places?

No, I actually don't think spanking used to be any more of a good thing than it is now.

But even with the long skirts, those skirts flip up and reveal all that God gave them when the girls are upside down and when they kick, don't they?
