Your thoughts? Do you ever wonder whether the reason why the debates always turn into much-too-literal conversations about things like lasagna is because there isn't really anything substantive to debate about SAH vs WOH?

I just remembered I did actually live in Germany (for one night), on the way back to the states from Turkey we spent the night in an airport hotel.

Yes, well if you liked it so much, you should have stayed.

"Just don't pretend it's irrelevant"

What is irrelevant? I have no idea what you are trying to say.

"It shows how insecure working moms get."

What shows insecurity? What am I "insecure" about? So confused.

What's with the caps? Anywhoo...

I certainly wasn't bragging, per se, but that aside...Even if I was, why shouldn't I? Does this make me an incompetent mother somehow? Certainly not. It makes my DD a happy, well-adjusted, social, outgoing, well-liked child. And I couldn't be prouder.

And ps: my HUSBAND was at work.

No.

I stated to another poster that unless I had remembered wrong she had lived in Germany.

She replied to me that she had lived there twice.

I replied back to her that. Yes, after I posted to her I remembered that she lived there twice, once as a child and once as active duty.

My memory is fine your reading comprehension is a bit off.

I grew up in Europe, and I live in Europe now, although for many years in between I lived in the US. Ditto for dh and countless friends.
