Whether you stay at home or work outside the home, would you change your status if you could? Is working from home the best of both worlds?

Well, not to over-think your question, but we all *could* change our work status if we wanted to.

I wouldn't change my work status (part-time WOH), but I would increase my hours to maybe 25 hours a week.

For some, yes, but I find it incredibly difficult to get work done at home with the baby up and around. I'd prefer to spend an hour away from home working than spend 4 hours trying to get the same thing done at home with my attention divided between the work and my child.

Wouldn't change my work status at all. I'd change some brides if I could. I love my balance between woh, wah, and family time. It's all good. Now, if you were talking about money, we could go for more of a paycheck but I'm not about to change anything to get more.

No, I wouldn't change anything. And working at home is about as close to nightmare as you could get for me.

I admit, working from home was a bit of adjustment for me, but nightmare? How so?

I'm not very good at self motivation. I tend to get depressed when I'm home every day. Same reason I'm not very good at SAH.

I think working at home would likely be the WORST of both worlds.

Nope wouldnt change my status. I work from home usually 2-3 days a week. I am in an office or traveling the other 2. This week is typical. Home today; home tomorrow; leaving for another office early Wed a.m. back later afternoon Thursday. Working from home Friday.
I'm able to make my kids breakfast most a.m.'s; make them dinner most nights....and BF my son most days.....

I work long hours but my hours are my own in that I dictate my schedule.
