Do you think there's such a thing as being "stuck" in your SAH/WOH circumstances?

I like that. I had the wrong list for a long time too. I'm happy to say at 40 yo I seem to be operating on the right list, most of the 30s were about changing my list.

"and also lucky to be married to man who is okay with the concept of me contributing zero dollars to our family budget for a period of years.'

I think that is a big part of the "luck".

Same with me. Statistically with the length of time we knew each other before getting married, the age of marriage, the important things that we did not talk about before marriage we should have been divorced long ago. But this fall we will be married 29 years. The only reason that I can figure out is we are a good fit.

This is pretty much exactly us.

perhaps you can elaborate on what it is that wives of men who have always been able to provide for tehm fall in love with, this is the second response about that and i'm curious what that even looks like, LOL.

They fall in love with the same things every woman falls in love with.

I would assume they fall in love with their husbands.

Isn't that pretty much the goal in all marriages?
