I read an article about this recently. It was difficult to read, but a tremendous piece of writing:
It was interesting to me that the author drew a link between the best-intentions of car seat safety for babies and this terrible, unforseen consequence.
I agree. I am a creature of habit and although I have never forgotten a child in a car seat there are many time that I have forgotten things only because I have changed my routine. So I can totally understand someone forgetting.
Today after buying gas I accidentally buckled my purse strap in my seat belt. It made me thought of another thing that someone could do to help remember. Keep a teething ring in the car seat. When you put the baby in the car seat buckle the teeething ring in your seat belt.
