....and I wouldn't enjoy spending 11 hours a week house cleaning, running errands and such and there are many who wouldn't enjoy spending 6-8 hours a week at the ball fields/courts/etc, but I do.

I don't see not commuting as a benefit, because for me, mine directly from home to work is less than 15 minutes and it's about 30 dropping off the kids at school and I greatly enjoy the time in the car with my kids.

The other three, have them all and I'm a wohm...plus I have the luxury of leaving my job at the office, it's not part of my home.

What type of work do you do, and how many hours a week do you work?

Not commuting.

In our denomination, our pastors can apply for a sabbatical. They don't get the time off to do nothing, they have to do something, but they can use the time to go to school, or perhaps work in a mission field area, or learn a second language, or all kinds of things. I think that being a full time pastor would get really, really tough, and that breaks like this are a really good thing. I wish more professions had that opportunity.
