Yes, I would think it odd that a normal eleven year old child would need help opening water bottles. I would not be surprised about something spilling; my kids spill things sometimes. I spill things sometimes. No biggie, we all know how to clean up after ourselves. I have no need to monitor my children's condiment use....my older one likes to put massive amounts of ranch dressing or barbecue sauce on just about everything, but as long as he eats what he drowns, I do not care. It is his food, however disgusting it might look to me.

The reason you can't see me in New York City is because you are never there! I like Manhattan and the few other areas of NYC I have visited and would like to see more.

No, you cannot play basketball alone....but I fully expect him to do some side trips alone. He will have some time before and after the tournament starts to explore the city (Vienna) and he is hoping to get to Budapest for a day or two. He hopes to make some friends to go with him, but if he wants to go alone -- it's just a short train ride -- he can.

Do you think you are the only parent who hears compliments about her children? Or that it's really seemly to harp on them? I'm quite proud of my children, and they are in great demand as babysitters, VBS helpers, that sort of thing. They are good kids, too, and we are quite happy with the way they seem to be turning out. Just in case you were wondering.

So is it wrong to go on about how hard these poor children of others must have to work while their mothers lie about and read magazines? Or is that kind of judging somehow OK?
