Why are you avoiding the question? I can easily show you posts but I am trying to ask you if you want your life out there and part of it, IMO would be the reason you went to other homes for dinner.

I am sure she can easily open an opened water bottle if she needs to have a drink. She can have a snack that does not require cooking. I am NOT the one who spoke about spreading with a knife. This is the child who makes her own bagels in the morning, cream cheese on them-lol!!


Not sure what kind of "care" she would have to be worried about in the less than 2 hours (if even that with after school activities).

Some parents have no other choice but for their kids to be home alone. There needs to be SOME sort of trust. I trust my dd will be ok for the MOST 2 hours at home by herself. She most likely will be at school after school hours for activities and homework in the library. My dh would be home before that ends. I am 5 minutes away if she does come home on time.
