This morning Liza got her self her cereal and then after she was done she made me scrambled eggs, wheat toast and butter and refilled my coffee -- she kept saying "get out of my kitchen"

maybe she'll be a better cook than me! LOL

Well I've asked three times for the information, I don't know how else to say it clearly.

Um....how can you agree with me when that's not what I said?

Oh I agree and if I didn't have any choice (knock wood that I have lots of choices) you can be darn sure that I would be working and working to insure that my children could handle the basics of caring for themselves without my constant supervision and reminding.

It's very telling when she keeps asking for permission, you keep giving it, and she posts nothing.

Helping someone who needs help is not a bad thing. But unnecessary helplessness is a bad thing, at least to me.

I have asked you several times about the judgments that you are doing and you refuse to address them. Why?

I would hate to have someone monitor my condiment consumption and tell me that I am using too much or too little. I was really unaware that there was a proper amount to use. I thought it was a matter of personal taste. If my kid were using so much dressing or mustard or barbecue sauce or whatever on his food that he couldn't consume everything he poured, that would be a problem. But as long as he is eating what he pours, what is the problem? The fact that I would find that much ranch dressing or barbecue sauce disgusting? That is silly. I get to regulate my own condiment use, and that of children too small to know how to pour properly or judge what they can eat. But older kids and teens? No, I have enough respect for my children to understand that they are different people, with different -- sometimes radically different -- tastes from my own.
