On an intellectual level I totally believe that the choices are equal.

But on an emotional level I still do tend to lean to the SAH is better when one has younger children.

I think that comes from the fact that for me SAH was better when I had young children. I do not think I would have been effective parenting and working when I had infants/toddlers.

But back to the intellectual side I understand that every one is different and what would have been extremely hard for me is a none issue for many.
