If the teacher was refusing to speak to her at all under any circumstances, then yes, that is completely unprofessional. I wasn't aware that the teacher was doing that. I must have been skimming the thread.
What was the thing about contractual hours, then? Was the teacher saying she wouldn't talk outside of contractual hours or that she wouldn't talk even during contractual hours, or what? I'm unclear on that.
