Sure. I am home except for two days (5 hours) a week. Of "true" SAHMs, I have 5 SAHMs and 1 SAHD in my family (siblings, siblings-in-law). No WOHMs except my own mom. Of my friends, 1 WAHM, 5 WOHMs, 6 SAHMs. Of acquaintances with whom I have discussed bedtime issues, I can think off hand of about 7 parents, 5 SAHMs, 2 WOHMs.

I should clarify, I did not mean to make a generalization that I think all SAHMs are lax about bedtimes and WOHMs are not. Just that my experience was the exact opposite of the person to whom I was replying. I was actually trying to make the point that if we each make that assessment based on the people we know, we will come out with completely different conclusions. I was trying to make that point by saying that maybe what she can see among hte people she knows is one way, but what I see with the people I know is the opposite, so maybe the truth lies somewhere in the middle. I should have been clearer.

My parents drafted me into watching it- watching history unfold and all that. But all I remember was the name "Bebe Rebozo". I thought it was the most comical name I'd ever heard and used it as a playground insult. "That was MY ball you Bebe Rebozo!" Good times.

I vaguely remember sexual relations when they were something fun and recreational, as opposed to a 5x monthly duty fulfilled immeditely preceding and of couse on the two blessed pink-line days.

I don't get it either. If the work is such that the kid can't do it on his own, then it is the wrong homework, IMO. I should not have to repeat first grade in order for my kid to get through school.
