This theme was touched upon in another thread and I wanted to discuss it further.

At our old church, there was a family of all Ds. The parents were Don and Dona. Their kids were Dana and Daryl.

Can I ask WHY you would assume I would not be smart enough to know this? Why would I NEED the police to tell me I was right? I would call because I AM right which OBVIOUSLY I was :)

I love the name Harrison. It is a family name on my dad's side and it was in the running when I was pg with my first. Then my stepsister had a baby just before me and, she named her son Harrison. So it had to come out of the running, which ended up fine since we had a girl. Funny thing is I can't remember her other three kids names, but I always remember Harrison.

When we had the twins dh and I picked the names, but we asked the kids what they thought. All the kids have different initials. The name we picked for our boy however had the first same initial as my middle stepson, G. MSS didn't want to share his first initial with his baby brother, he was sure that was a bad idea. We didn't really give him a choice, and named our son with that G name anyway. Not a day goes by that I don't somehow end up calling MSS by DS's name or DS by MSS's name. MSS is forever telling me, "I told you it was a bad idea." LOL.

I'm assuming no such thing. Suspecting something is not the same as knowing something. You didn't know. You thought you knew...because that's what suspicion is...but until the suspicion is confirmed, you can't really know for sure.

Are you saying that nothing that anyone reports to the police turns out to be unfounded? Or do you only credit yourself with that magic knowledge?

Yep and my town has the highest salaries around. It happens, everywhere. If it is not obvious then you might not even know it is happening right next door to you. Or.....-lol!!!

Many parties are not even at anyone's home so not sure why that comment was made.

I am lucky that most people I know are very friendly and want to stay at parties to get to know each other. I guess we are just more social IRL :)
