This theme was touched upon in another thread and I wanted to discuss it further.

The 4am train used to wake me up every morning-lol!! They have since lowered the horn and used it less from the complaining from the residents who live closer to the tracks.

Nothing wakes me up at night. A common conversation in our house. DH: "Wow that was some storm last night". Me: "It stormed?".

lol!! I usually wake up with any noise as I was the first child and my mother had the house very quiet which I think is a big downfall later in life. I have slept through thunderstorms though but not many-lol!!

I don't think I've even ever paid $31 for a purse....

Yeah, I've only ever bought one purse, and I doubt I paid more than $30 for it. My other purse was given to me as a Christmas present 13 years ago (I remember because I learned that it was a department store gift-with-purchase). It's awfully cute, though, IMO.

I don't get why people have lots of purses. Or shoes.

Given that there are currently 7 of us in the stairwell who work 2nd or 3rd shift (4 at the local hospital, 2 for TSA at the airport and me), I think my dayshift neighbors would never get any sleep if they were constantly monitoring our comings and goings.

I have to believe the really well paid drug dealers aren't likely to choose your neighborhood.
