We wouldn't. But then again, it wouldn't matter anyway.

For me, a big part of participating in online discussions was understanding and accepting from the get-go that some of what I read might not be true. It's entertainment. I don't believe everything I see on TV...why should I believe 100% of what I read here?

Pretty much. I am saying that what is a lot of money is relative to what one can afford.

What is a lot of money for me to spend on an item is quite different then what is a lot of money for my DDs to spend on something.
