Could be since the properties are owned by individuals or corporations. But they don't rent below market, they get full market value- some from the tenant and some from the program. There are different programs for people on disability.

I have a feeling that none of us are talking about quite the same program.

Silly, there's no such thing as other unseen issues. Everybody knows every detail of every other person's life. I'm sure the government only gave her section 8 housing because she asked nicely and baked them some cookies. ;-)

but that scenario wouldn't qualify her for assistance..i think HARVARD's point is that some low income live as entitled as someone who works hard, whose own dime pays for the things they have.

i know one, believe it or not it was a soothing mechanism for her DS, he had/s a disability, a form of autism.

There used to be a time when that same argument was used to support laws that prohibited black people from moving into nicer neighborhoods.
