Do you think a SAHM should go back to work once the kids start school?

  • Absolutely, why shouldn't she? There's no reason why she shouldn't.
  • It's up to her & her family.
  • No, not really. What do the kids being in school have to do w/ her working?

I don't know where this "ditching a job" thing came in. Not from me.

The programs survived because there were enough parents that COULD attend at those times. I've never said there weren't plenty of parents/kids that could participate in the time slots offered. I have said that there were no, or very few, offered in other time slots. And I have said that the income level of my town was fairly low.

You seem to think you know so much about my life. And that's just bullchit.

WRong.

<< Bit cities have tonse of venuse to check out, you'll find something EASILY.>>

Wasn't in a bit city. Doesn't apply

<< Small places have few things, you can't like "miss" one for a year and a half.>>

Easy to miss if it doesn't exist.

<< I mean what - did they hide the gym and studio behind a rock or something? You couldn't find it They didn't list in the phone book or advertise? ?>>

Nope. I knew where the 2 gymnastics gyms were. I knew where the 3 ballet studios were.

<>

Nope. The three places that offered ballet at dd's level ONLY had classes that started before 5:30. The two places that gymnastics at her level only had classes that started before 5:30, until about a year ago, when they started offering 2-3 evening classes. At that time, we signed up.

Refute me if you want .. but until you've lived in my town and know it like I do, you can't spout your bullchit as anything close to the truth.

Hey! I wasn't addressing that portion. I was addressing the portion where you seemed to think that because your town, which is FAR from normal by your own admission, has activities after 5:30, that its normal for towns to do so.

The only nerve I have is being in a loving relationship. Where you communicate and don't dictate what each other should do.. As to my marriage and my personal life, it's none of your damn buisness.

Same here in (hicks)ville, Ky. :)

I can't get by them usually.. So crowded from all the parents that need them.
