Now I have a line of dancing cheerleaders in my head, who are chanting "Go-tii-iit! Go-tiii-iit!" @@

first of all,i never said that you should leave just that if this is the only thing that you do on your spare time then maybe you need to broaden your horizons learn something new.second,no one is forcing me to stay on this debate board and if you do not think of me as amiable then just ignore me

No, that's actually not what you said, although it's very likely that's what you meant. But I can't be expected to know what you meant; I can only go by what you say.

As to your clarified meaning, I do lots of things in my spare time, not the least of which is participating on these boards. It's something I've enjoyed for years now. In fact, I spent most of last weekend in NYC with several ladies who I met on this board and a couple others here on ivillage--they came from around the country for our little gathering and we had a great time.

I really don't know how you could possibly think you know enough about me to make recommendations on how I spend my free time. Which is a valid rebuttal, whether this is my only free time activity or not.
