I went back to re-read it, and apparently I completely misinterpreted what you meant. The way it went was:

<>

I thought you meant "no" as in "no, I don't think they should have help". My bad. Although if that's how others read it, too, then I can see why things got really riled up the way they did.

Yes, I know.....and here is hoping that we don't revisit the grand wedding debate because of this.

< 1. I wouldn't feel comfortable marrying my sister if I just became an ordained minister and got this "degree"from online for $20.>

  • Well you aren't her sister

<2. I would not feel comfortable having my sister marry me because I only wanted to spend $20 and that is how much the class cost online.>

  • What does the price of something have to do with it.

We hold hands and say thank you together, then squeeze our hands and kiss the hand of the two we are holding. It is a nice start to the meal and makes it have an official start.

At Thanksgiving, it is a little longer. "For what we are about to receive, may we be truly thankful." I also give everyone three pieces of corn and while they eat them, they are supposed to think of three things that happened during the past year for which they are thankful.

Um, marriage certificates are given even in non-religious ceremonies.

How is what you wanted relevant to someone else's wedding?

Religion affects your everyday life. Just to use the public school schedule as an example. Why isn't there school in Sunday? The same reason there isn't school on Saturday, it's the weekend.
